Tribute

March 1st, 2014 9:35 pm

I am posting this in hopes that those who would appreciate Jeff’s music can take time to create a good listening environment for themselves, put on a set of headphones and immerse. Most any recordings that will eventually be posted here are of a rough audio quality. It is certainly an honor to sort and post this music. Whether one likes or dislikes the tracks here, the point is the musicianship.

Visit the “Personal Works” section for more tracks.

The “Asturias” is a song that players who wish to call themselves “guitarists” know that they can confidently do so once they’ve learned AND can perform it. So, I thought I’d post the piece as a tribute to Jeff’s dedication in learning it round about 1986, as well as a show of his talent on a nylon string guitar. Lucky to have a recording of it at all. I hope others enjoy as much as I do.
070718 – update – was able to clean up the audio for Asturias. So much better!!
