Tribute

Saturday, March 1st, 2014

I am posting this in hopes that those who would appreciate Jeff’s music can take time to create a good listening environment for themselves, put on a set of headphones and immerse. Most any recordings that will eventually get posted here are of a very rough sort as far as audio quality. It is certainly an honor to sort and post this music. Whether one likes or dislikes the tracks is beside the point here. The point is the musicianship.

Visit the “Personal Works” section for more tracks.

The “Asturias” is a song that players who wish to call themselves “guitarists” know that they can confidently do so once they have learned AND can perform it. So, I thought I would post this song as a tribute to Jeff’s dedication in learning the piece round about 1986, as well as a show of his talent on a classical guitar. Lucky to have a recording of it at all. I hope others enjoy as much as I do.
070718 – update – was able to clean up the audio for Austurias. So much better!!
